Affordability

Cost:

  • BSN-to-MSN and MPH GuidedPath: BHMT will pay up to $5250 per calendar year directly to Capella University on your behalf for the MSN or MPH programs. The MPH program can be completed in 3.25 years at this cost point. As an  eligible BHMT participant, you can choose to complete courses at a faster rate; however, you will be responsible for all costs incurred by completing courses that are included in the 3.25-year schedule.
  • A maximum of $5250 per calendar year will be paid directly to Capella University on your behalf. As a condition of your participation in the BHMT degree programs, BHMT will access your KP tuition reimbursement for eligible expenses to the maximum available. The $5250 max may therefore represent a combination of your KP Tuition Reimbursement (collected by BHMT) and BHMT funding. You are responsible for all costs that exceed the $5250 per calendar year maximum.
  • BSN-to-MSN FlexPath: A maximum of $5250 per calendar year (combining your KP Tuition Reimbursement collected by BHMT and BHMT Funding) will be paid directly to Capella University on your behalf. If the full $5250 is available, no out-of-pocket cost is required for this option. As a condition of your participation in BHMT academic programs, BHMT will access your available KP tuition reimbursement funds for eligible expenses.
  • Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the annual $5,250 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
