Program Overview

Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences offers an online Doctor of Nursing Practice program for nurse leaders and educators seeking a practice-focused degree that will help you gain the credibility, management skills, credentials and industry knowledge you need to lead in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment. Our DNP degree program features the flexibility of online learning, experienced faculty with significant nursing leadership and educational experience, and a nationwide representation of students to learn and grow with. Choose from four DNP specializations: Educational Leadership, Executive Leadership, Informatics Leadership or Professional Leadership. There is no final dissertation. Instead, the final DNP capstone project allows you to apply your American Sentinel education directly to your work.

Cost

  • Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences has collaborated with BHMT to offer you a discounted tuition rate of $616/credit hour. The program is 42 credit hours. Total tuition is $28,770 (could be less if you have transfer credits).
  • BHMT will pay a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year directly to Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences on your behalf for your DNP program. You will be responsible for all costs above this calendar year maximum of $5250.
  • Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the annual $5,250 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
BHMT Program Requirements
6 Month Check-in
  • Meet with your BHMT Academic Success Coach twice a year to discuss your academic experience, and to explore the support resources BHMT has to offer.
Successful Course Completion
  • For continued success in BHMT programs you need to receive a passing grade of C or better for each course you complete. This ensures you comply with the BHMT Academic Suspension policy you agreed to as part of the BHMT Student Agreement. For more information about the suspension process, refer to the BHMT Student Agreement.
