Program Overview

Ocean County College (OCC) offers quality, online educational experiences for working adults. OCC employs top tier, experienced online instructors who serve as experts in their field and who have also completed rigorous training in online teaching and learning.

 

OCC offers a full suite of online student services to support you along the way: enrollment counseling, 24/7 course support, full access to library databases and live chat, degree planning and academic advising, and tutoring in all subject areas.

Program Highlights

 

Delivery type:

  • 100% Online (semester term—two sessions per 15-week semester).

States:

  • WA, OR, HI, CA, CO, GA, MD, DC, VA.

Registration:

  • Spring, Summer and Fall Sessions.

Length of Term:

  • You can complete each course in as little as 10 weeks (Quick Term).

Course Enrollment Maximum:

  • You can enroll in a maximum of two undergraduate courses (one lab course) per semester.

Cost:

  • A maximum of $5250 per calendar year will be paid directly to Ocean County College on your behalf. If the full $5250 is available, no out-of-pocket cost is required for this option. BHMT will use your available KP tuition reimbursement funds for eligible expenses.
  • Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the annual $5,250 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
BHMT Program Requirements
6 Month Check-in
  • Meet with your BHMT Academic Success Coach twice a year to discuss your academic experience, and to explore the support resources BHMT has to offer.
Unsuccessful Course Completion and Dropped Class Policy
  • These programs require your time and effort on a consistent basis as well as communication with the course instructor, tutor, or BHMT Academic Success Coach if you are having difficulties or conflicts. Should you not complete your courses successfully with a ‘C’ or better, pass, or drop the course by the first day of class, your participation in Trust programs may be suspended for a period of twelve months.
