Examines the mathematics involved in personal finance, environmental issues, the social sciences, politics and voting, business and economics, graph theory, fractals, art, and music. The course will also include a writing and research component.
BHMT participants are responsible for making sure selected course(s) will transfer to the accepting institution.
PLEASE NOTE: This course may require a proctor for certain exams. It is your responsibility to arrange for exam proctors as necessary. Libraries and other institutions may offer free exam proctor services in your area, but if you choose to pay for proctor services out-of-pocket, those fees are not covered by BHMT.
* Completion of equivalent or higher course with a grade of “C” or better. Course equivalence is subject to interpretation by Coastline College.
