Important instructions for continuing with Capella University

This email is to alert you that you have 14 days left in your current Capella FlexPath billing session.

As a Kaiser Permanente employee supported by the Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust, you are required to take one of the actions below to continue receiving BHMT financial support for your Capella program. As a reminder, as part of the BHMT program, you are required to successfully complete at least one FlexPath course per Capella billing session.

If you have any questions, we urge you to contact your Capella academic coach via email, phone or text. They can offer information and advice on how best to proceed. Find their contact information on your academic plan under the Need Help button or dial 1-888-CAPELLA and hit option 2 for academic advising.

Please act immediately to avoid BHMT financial suspension for your program:

•  Complete your current Capella FlexPath course with the grade posted by 11:59:59 CST by the final day of your billing session which can be found on your Capella finances dashboard.

•  Or, ask your Capella academic coach to put you on an academic break to prevent a new billing session from starting. If you haven’t done this and a new FlexPath billing session starts, you’ll be responsible for the entire tuition. If you don’t successfully complete the course you are in by the end of this current billing session, BHMT will have to list you as being on financial suspension and won’t accept an invoice for this new billing session.

•  Or, if you want to continue with this current course and know that you will not complete it by the end of the current billing session, you have the option to continue the course into the next billing session and pay out of pocket for the new billing session.

•  Or, reach out to your Capella academic coach and discuss end-of-term dates and current course progress. Your course dates can also be found on your academic plan on MyCapella.

We strongly encourage you to either complete your current Capella course in the next 14 days/by the end of your current billing session or contact your academic coach immediately.They can offer advice on the best way to proceed.
