The Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust has partnered with AmEnglish to provide online training to improve communication skills for non-native speakers of English at the high beginning through advanced levels. All programs from AmEnglish have been reviewed and approved by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), maker of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) tests. The TOEFL® test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 9,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the U.K. and the United States.

 

Earn CEU credits through the BHMT English Proficiency Program:

AmEnglish in collaboration with California State University @ Monterey Bay (CSUMB) College of Extended Study, now offers CE credits. If you’d like to take this class and earn up to 12 CE credits, click here for more information.

Who Should Enroll

All BHMT participants who want to improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills in English or practicing for the TOEFL® test by using tips and official test prep material.

 

 

How Do I Register?

 

  1. Click on Register button below.
  2. Go to Student Login and enter your NUID and preferred email.
  3. There will be an option to opt-in for a weekly Tips from the Author email with links to narrated videos and recommendations on ways to take full advantage of the interactive, online programs.
  4. Once you have registered, you will have instant access to the English Skills Series content.
  5. After registration, you will only need your email to login.

  • You must be a KP Union Alliance or Coalition Employee with “active” KP employment status.
  • You must have completed your probationary period.
  • You must be a BHMT eligible part-time or full-time KP benefited employee.
  • Open to all regions.

  • If you don’t have access to a reliable computer, we can lend you one! Learn more.
  • Current version of a common browser (such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox)
  • Must have a microphone to fully participate in the program
