Registration
- Enrollment is open 6 times per year.
Length of Term
- 8-week terms (MSN – excluding nurse practitioner specializations – and MBA-Healthcare are offered in 8-week terms or 16-week SIMPath competency-based learning formats).
Course Enrollment Maximum
- One course per 8-week online term
- For SIMPath modality (available for non-nurse practitioner MSN and MBA-Healthcare degrees), students may complete as many courses as they are able in each 16-week semester.

Affordability
- Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences has collaborated with BHMT to offer you a discounted tuition rate:
- Traditional Term-Based – $448/credit hour*
- SIMPath (Competency-Based) – $3,200/16-week semester
- Nursing programs include a $50 per course Resource Fee (Term Based) or a $200 per semester Resource Fee (SIMPath) covered by BHMT.
- A maximum of $5250 per calendar year will be paid directly to Post University on your behalf. BHMT will recover your KP tuition reimbursement eligible expenses to the maximum available. Should you not have sufficient KP Tuition Reimbursement funds to cover the $5250 calendar year maximum, BHMT will bear the expense. You are responsible for all costs that exceed $5250 per calendar year.
- Students are issued a book voucher for purchase of required textbooks. Students will receive instructions for purchasing textbooks via email after registering for courses. BHMT requires purchase of eBooks unless not available. All other non-required textbooks are the responsibility of the student.
- Book voucher costs billed to BHMT will be deducted from student’s annual $5250 funding allotment.
- Students are responsible for certain fees out of pocket with no BHMT reimbursement. BHMT does not cover clinical software, background checks or costs associated with the APEA exam.
- Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the annual $5,250 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
