Program Overview

Colorado Technical University’s RN to BSN program is flexible, rigorous and designed by nurses. It is fully online and built on prior foundational nursing knowledge to provide you with the necessary tools to deliver evidence-based care and drive change at the bedside and beyond.

  • All state residents of CA, CO, DC, GA, HI, MD, OR, VA and WA are eligible to enroll in this program.

Registration:

  • Eight different start dates per year.

Length of Program:

  • You can earn your BSN degree in as little as 12 months.
The Fine Print

 

Transfer Credits:

  • Up to 90 quarter credits may be accepted as transfer credit.
    It is your responsibility to confirm that courses/programs completed with BHMT resources meet your academic and career objectives and transfer into your desired school/program.

Costs:

  • $5250 (8 sessions x $656.25) and a total length of as low as 12 months.

 

BHMT will pay a program maximum of $16,500 on your behalf for the BHMT RN to BSN program. All available KP tuition reimbursement funds will be paid to BHMT to partially cover the RN to BSN program cost.

 

Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the lifetime $16,500 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.

BHMT Program Requirements
6 Month Check-in
  • Complete a check-in twice a year to share your academic experience and to explore support resources BHMT has to offer.
Successful Course Completion
  • For continued success in BHMT programs you need to receive a passing grade of C or better for each course you complete. This ensures you comply with the BHMT Academic Suspension policy you agreed to as part of the BHMT Student Agreement. For more information about the suspension process, refer to the BHMT Student Agreement.
BHMT Student Agreement
  • This program and participation is governed by the terms of the BHMT Student Agreement. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the student agreement; by registering and participating in this program you are agreeing to comply with it.
Prerequisites

 

  • CTU’s RN to BSN program does not have prerequisite requirements for licensed and practicing RN’s.
