Program Overview

Are you a busy nurse? Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences 100% online RN to B.S. Nursing (RN to BSN) program was designed just for you. We specialize in nursing programs and 98% of our students work in healthcare while going to school, so we built our programs to be flexible. We understand that everyone learns differently, so we have two paths to fast track to your accredited RN to BSN: traditional term- based or Powered by SIMPath®.

  • Powered by SIMPath® – Take as many courses as your schedule allows per 16-week semester.

The Fine Print

 

Transfer Credits

  • Your RN license plus ASN or ADN earns you 60 credits toward the total required 120 credits for your BSN. Up to 90 credits can be transferred into your program depending on the evaluation of your official transcripts, leaving you with only 30 credits or 10 nursing courses to complete.

 

Cost
Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences has collaborated with BHMT to offer you a discounted tuition rate:

  • Traditional Term-Based – $344/credit hour or $10,500 for 30 credit hours
  • Powered by SIMPath® – $2,480/16-week semester (it is possible to complete Powered by SIMPath® in 2 semesters for $5,250)

 

BHMT will pay a program maximum of $16,500 on your behalf for the BHMT RN to BSN program. All available KP tuition reimbursement funds will be paid to BHMT to partially cover the RN to BSN program cost.

 

Students are responsible for purchasing required textbooks and fees out of pocket. BHMT will only reimburse for:

  • Required Textbooks
  • Shadow Health Clinical Software
  • CastleBranch Background Check
  • APEA Exam

 

All other textbooks/fees are the responsibility of the student. Please complete the highlighted portions of the Reimbursement Request form and send to bhmt@kp.org along with payment receipts. The subject line of the email should read “Post U Reimbursement Request”. Payment processing can take 1-3 weeks.

 

Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the lifetime $16,500 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.

BHMT Program Requirements
6 Month Check-in
  • Meet with your BHMT Academic Success Coach twice a year to discuss your academic experience, and to explore the support resources BHMT has to offer.
Successful Course Completion
  • For continued success in BHMT programs you need to receive a passing grade of C or better for each course you complete. This ensures you comply with the BHMT Academic Suspension policy you agreed to as part of the BHMT Student Agreement. For more information about the suspension process, refer to the BHMT Student Agreement.
BHMT Student Agreement
  • This program and participation is governed by the terms of the BHMT Student Agreement. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the student agreement; by registering and participating in this program you are agreeing to comply with it.
Post University Prerequisites
  • An active and unencumbered U.S. RN license.
