English Proficiency CE

Earn CE credits through the BHMT English Proficiency Program. AmEnglish, in collaboration with California State University @ Monterey Bay (CSUMB) College of Extended Study, offers CE courses in speaking, listening and writing in English. You can earn up to 12 CE credits. To register and get started, click the register button below and get started today; you will have 12 months to complete your coursework.

Pronunciation in English for Medical Professionals (High Beginning+, Intermediate+)

 

 

These programs will help you increase your idiomatic vocabulary while improving your listening comprehension and spoken English.

 

Idioms in English (Volume 1, 2, 3 & Phrasal Verbs)

 

 

These programs will help you identify and avoid common grammar/syntax mistakes as well as help you write clear, concise, and correct English.

 

Writing in English (High Beginning+, Intermediate+)

Who Should Enroll

All BHMT participants who want to improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills in English or practicing for the TOEFL® test by using tips and official test prep material.

 

How Do I Register?

 

  1. Click on Register button below.
  2. Go to Student Login and enter your NUID and preferred email.
  3. There will be an option to opt-in for a weekly Tips from the Author email with links to narrated videos and recommendations on ways to take full advantage of the interactive, online programs.
  4. Once you have registered, you will have instant access to the English Skills Series content.
  5. After registration, you will only need your email to login.

  • You must be a KP Union Alliance or Coalition Employee with “active” KP employment status.
  • You must have completed your probationary period.
  • You must be a BHMT eligible part-time or full-time KP benefited employee.
  • Open to all regions.

  • If you don’t have access to a reliable computer, we can lend you one! Learn more.
  • Current version of a common browser (such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox)
  • Must have a microphone to fully participate in the program
