Does the thought of going back to school or continuing your education online seem a bit overwhelming?

 

Colorado Technical University (CTU), through the Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust (BHMT), is offering a College Gateway class called Academic and Career Success. This online class is designed for individuals who are interested in continuing their education but face the time constraints of work and family life. You’ll be introduced to a series of tools that will develop your learning skills to help you be successful academically. Upon successful completion of the class you will be able to:

 

  • Demonstrate and apply effective strategies necessary for immediate success and lifelong learning
  • Demonstrate comprehension of technology by using the tools and skills necessary for student success
  • Integrate career planning strategies to set learning and professional goals
  • Use success strategies learned throughout the course to develop your individual Success Strategy Plan

 

Academic and Career Success
This online class provides students with an introduction to student success, technology and career planning strategies. Students learn effective tools and skills necessary for academic success; integrating them with career planning strategies to develop an individual Success Strategy Plan.

 

Credits: 4.5

Transferability Requirement

BHMT participants are responsible for making sure selected course(s) will transfer to the accepting institution.

 

 

 

How Do I Start the Registration Process?
  1. First-time students click "GET STARTED" below to be contacted by a Colorado Technical University Admission Advisor.
  2. Returning CTU student please call 1-855-283-1590 to enroll in this class.

 

PLEASE NOTE: BHMT will use your available KP tuition reimbursement funds for eligible tuition, fees and materials expenses. If available tuition reimbursement funds are not sufficient to cover expenses, BHMT will cover the remainder at no cost to you.

  • You must have completed your probationary period.
  • You must be a BHMT eligible part-time or full-time KP benefited employee.
  • Open to all regions.

Student Agreement

This program and participation is governed by the terms of the BHMT Student Agreement. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the student agreement; by registering and participating in this program you are agreeing to comply with it.

 

Unsuccessful Course Completion and Dropped Class Policy

Ben U programs require your time and effort on a consistent basis as well as communicating with the course instructor, tutor, or BHMT Career Development Coach if you are having difficulties or conflicts. Should you not complete your program successfully with a ‘C’ or better, pass, or drop the course by the institution’s 1st drop date, your participation in Trust programs may be suspended for a period of twelve months.
