Consider these factors:
Learning Readiness: To thrive in accelerated online classes, strong time management and regular engagement are essential. Confidently utilize your laptop and software and enhance your skills by reviewing the Academic Success Skill Learning Paths, Skills, and College Courses.
Cost: BHMT partner school with benefits (maximum of $16,500 for RN-BSN programs, $5250 for degree programs, fully funded for certificate program) vs non-partnered programs (KP TR $3000 per year plus out-of-pocket costs and/or other outside financial aid).
Time for school and program requirements: How much time will you need to study and complete program requirements (e.g., clinicals, field work)? What plans do you need to make to accommodate the new demands on your schedule?
The Trust will recover tuition reimbursement eligible expenses to the maximum available. Should an individual not have sufficient funds to cover the expenses or should the classes exceed the regional maximum, the Trust will bear the expense.
If you need to withdraw from a class outside of the add/drop window, you will need to meet with your school’s representative to officially withdraw from the course. By withdrawing from the course, you will receive a grade of “W” on your transcript and BHMT is still financially responsible to pay for the class. Per BHMT’s student agreement, a grade of “W” will result in a BHMT academic suspension. You will be notified via email regarding your next steps. Also, feel free to reach out to your Academic Success Coach for support.
Per BHMT’s student agreement, a grade of “W”, “I”, or below a “C” will result in a BHMT academic suspension. Failing to earn any grade your program requires for passing is considered an unsuccessful grade and will result in a BHMT academic suspension. You will be notified via email regarding your next steps, which include working with an Academic Success Coach to complete a plan for the suspension to be released. Depending on the number of suspensions you have received, your wait time to resume classes in your degree will vary.
