If so, our programmatically accredited Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree online can equip you with professional, post-licensure skills to enhance your nursing practice faster. Develop competencies as a researcher, practitioner and leader to help you make informed clinical decisions in your role as a professional nurse. Did you know? You may be able to complete your RN to BSN degree online in 14 months by transferring an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or eligible associate degree from a school with approved accreditation. If eligible, you'll receive 87 credits for an ADN. If you don't have an ADN transfer, RNs receive 40 total credits and may complete their degree in 2.5 years.

BHMT will pay a program maximum of $16,500 on your behalf for the BHMT RN to BSN program. All available KP tuition reimbursement funds will be paid to BHMT to partially cover the RN to BSN program cost.
Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the lifetime $16,500 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
Admission Requirements
Earned an acceptable high school diploma, GED equivalent, California High School Proficiency Examination certificate or foreign secondary school equivalent.
Earned an Associate Degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution or earned a nursing diploma from a recognized school in the United States. Have a valid, unrestricted, unencumbered RN license from the US in all states in which you hold an active license. Not have been expelled from a previous institution.
Complete all required forms for admission and submit official test scores, transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
Applicants without previous academic experience in an English language environment must pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), TOEIC or IELTS.
Applicants with foreign nursing credentials must have an associate degree in nursing or post-secondary diploma in nursing, or earned a foreign equivalent at a recognized foreign institution.
You must be in a KP position that requires an RN license to be eligible for the RN-BSN program.

Successful Course Completion
For continued success in BHMT programs you need to receive a passing grade of C or better for each course you complete and you must meet any program/school specific requirements. This ensures you comply with the BHMT Academic Suspension policy you agreed to as part of the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement. For more information about the suspension process, refer to the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement.
BHMT Beneficiary Agreement
This program and participation is governed by the terms of the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the agreement; by registering and participating in this program you are agreeing to comply with it.
Student must first be accepted into the BHMT RN to BSN program. Start by contacting a Career Development Coach to maximize your benefits and make sure your education supports your career. Upon referral by the BHMT Career Development Coach, clients meet with their BHMT Academic Success Coach to confirm academic readiness and develop an education plan. Student’s BHMT Academic Success Coach sends the BHMT Intent to Enroll Form to the Admissions Advisor. Feel free to connect with UOPX Enrollment Representative to review programs and benefits during BMHT eligibility process. Students can email one of our nursing advisors: Danielle Sullivan, Danielle.Sullivan@phoenix.edu Julie Brimhall, Julie.Brimhall@phoenix.edu Student self-identifies as a Kaiser employee and BHMT eligible participant. Student fills out admissions application – including Transcript Request Form (UPOX requests transcripts) Student provides Enrollment Advisor with BHMT award approval email. Student chooses start date for BHMT program, meets with Enrollment Representative to review requirements, forms and select program schedule. Classroom workshops are available for exploration prior to start of program. Must take NSG 302 as their first course. Enrollment Representative walks student through their first day of class and assists through first course. Approval letter/email: Kaiser will provide students a BHMT scholarship recipient/approval letter/email to identify RN-BSN students who are apart of BHMT. Students will submit the letter/email to their Enrollment Representative during the enrollment process.

YES. If you are already attending one of the preferred providers on our list of schools, you may apply to the RN to BSN program. If your school of choice is not one of our partner providers, you will have the option to use stipend time only – no tuition assistance through BHMT will be available. Please apply through the BHMT Individual Stipend Program.
The Trust will recover tuition reimbursement eligible expenses to the maximum available. Should an individual not have sufficient funds to cover the expenses or should the classes exceed the regional maximum, the Trust will bear the expense.
Work with your school on the withdrawal and contact your Academic Success Coach as you may be subject to BHMT’s Unsuccessful Course Completion policy.
