RN to BSN Program
At Post University, we are committed to helping registered nurses achieve their next-level education goals. Our program offers the learning experiences you could use to make a difference in patient care as well as your future. Choose a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN), or a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Master of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN/MSN) where a BSN is awarded after the first 10 nursing courses.

Units Needed
Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences has collaborated with BHMT to offer you a discounted tuition rate:
Traditional Term-Based – $344/credit hour or $10,500 for 30 credit hours
SIMPath (competency-based) – $2,480/16-week semester (it is possible to complete SIMPath (competency-based) in 2 semesters for $5,250)
BHMT will pay a program maximum of $16,500 on your behalf for the BHMT RN to BSN program. All available KP tuition reimbursement funds will be paid to BHMT to partially cover the RN to BSN program cost.
Students are responsible for certain fees out of pocket with no BHMT reimbursement. BHMT does not cover clinical software or background checks Students are issued a book voucher for purchase of required textbooks. Students will receive instructions for purchasing textbooks via email after registering for courses. BHMT requires purchase of eBooks unless not available. All other non-required textbooks are the responsibility of the student.
Residents of California may be responsible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if this charge exceeds the lifetime $16,500 tuition cap. The STRF is a fund administered by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education that relieves or mitigates economic loss suffered by a student while enrolled in a qualifying institution. The STRF assessment rate is two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of institutional charges.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences RN to BSN program, you must submit the following:
A completed application.Applicants educated within the United States, Canada and US Territories who hold a U.S. RN license must submit the following:
A copy of your active and unencumbered U.S. RN license.
Official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended showing a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. The institution(s) must send the transcripts directly to Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences.
Nursing education must be from a state board approved school of nursing, or hospital school of nursing or an accredited associate degree nursing program.
Applicants whose GPA is below 2.0 will be considered for admission but must provide a separate statement indicating
a) any extenuating circumstances that may have contributed to the lower GPA,
b) their reasons for seeking the BSN degree and
c) how they intend to succeed
You must be in a KP position that requires an RN license to be eligible for the RN-BSN program.

BHMT Program Requirements
6 Month Check-in
Complete a check-in twice a year to share your academic experience and to explore support resources BHMT has to offer.
Successful Course Completion
For continued success in BHMT programs you need to receive a passing grade of C or better for each course you complete and you must meet any program/school specific requirements. This ensures you comply with the BHMT Academic Suspension policy you agreed to as part of the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement. For more information about the suspension process, refer to the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement.
BHMT Beneficiary Agreement
This program and participation is governed by the terms of the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the agreement; by registering and participating in this program you are agreeing to comply with it.
You must first be accepted into the BHMT degree completion program. Start by contacting a Career Development Coach to maximize your benefits and make sure your education supports your career goals. Upon referral by the BHMT Career Development Coach, clients meet with their BHMT Academic Success Coach to confirm academic readiness and develop an education plan. Your BHMT Academic Success Coach provides the BHMT Intent to Enroll Form to the Admissions Advisor. You will receive an email with information to complete the Post University | American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences application.

YES. If you are already attending one of the preferred providers on our list of schools, you may apply to the RN to BSN program. If your school of choice is not one of our partner providers, you will have the option to use stipend time only – no tuition assistance through BHMT will be available. Please apply through the BHMT Individual Stipend Program.
The Trust will recover tuition reimbursement eligible expenses to the maximum available. Should an individual not have sufficient funds to cover the expenses or should the classes exceed the regional maximum, the Trust will bear the expense.
Work with your school on the withdrawal and contact your Academic Success Coach as you may be subject to BHMT’s Unsuccessful Course Completion policy.
