Dietary Management, Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement in Dietary Management provides the education and training in nutrition, foodservice, personnel and communication, sanitation and safety, and business operations which enables students to competently perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and prepares students to take nationally recognized Certified Dietary Manager Credentialing Exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status. Certified Dietary Managers (CDM) are nationally recognized experts at managing foodservice operations and ensuring food safety; they are responsible for the daily operations of foodservice department, according to facility policy and procedures and federal/state regulations.

  • You can complete each course in as little as 8 weeks. Some courses are offered in a 15-week format.

Course Enrollment Maximum

  • You can enroll in a maximum of two courses at a time.

Coastline has collaborated with BHMT to offer certificate and degree programs to eligible participants with no out-of-pocket cost.

BHMT will use your KP Tuition Reimbursement (TR) benefit to cover the Coastline certification program tuition If the cost of attendance exceeds your available KP Tuition Reimbursement, BHMT will pay the difference on your behalf.

Admission Requirements
You must be a BHMT-eligible participant. Coastline has an open enrollment policy.

Laptop Lending
BHMT has a Laptop Lending program for those in need of a (Chromebook) computer. Before applying please make sure Chromebooks are compatible with your school and program. Read and approve the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement.

Once you are on the Coastline College BHMT Apply & Enroll page, choose Self-Enrollment Certificates.

Apply to Coastline College making sure to select Corporate Education Program

Log into MyCoast and register for courses.
