- Served as a trusted advisor and leader in the Kaiser Permanente Labor Management Partnership since its founding in 1996
- Spearheaded the 2005 KP HealthConnect Effects Bargaining Agreement assuring thousands of Partnership-represented employees could choose KP retraining if the initiative resulted in job loss

Ben Hudnall passed away on June 12, 2006 after waging a courageous battle with cancer. Today, Ben’s work and dedication are remembered through the Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust which continues to offer a range of programs and services to support employee development and advancement.
The Trust, established in 2007, provides education and career development resources to employees within Kaiser Permanente. The Trust’s mission is to support lifelong learning and career development for Kaiser Permanente employees, reflecting Ben Hudnall’s dedication to these principles.
