Get ahead with Learnit
Learnit offers live, instructor-led courses that help you grow your tech skills and build the interpersonal skills you need to succeed at work—now and in the future. These expert-led no-cost courses are engaging and interactive. Learnit is for BHMT-eligible employees who want to:
- Improve software skills
- Strengthen communication and problem-solving
- Learn new ways to work more effectively
You can choose from a wide variety of professional topics such as:
- Tech skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other applications
- Presentation skills, including content creation and Q&A tips
- Collaboration tools like MS Teams and Outlook
- Leadership development
- Human skills like communicating with confidence, problem solving, and managing risk
Important NOTE: The following courses are not covered and will be canceled if you register for them:
- Tableau: Introduction
- SQL Querying Fundamentals
- Smartsheet
- SharePoint
- Present Like a Pro
- Python Fundamentals
- Power BI
NOTE: If you already have a Learnit account through BHMT, you can log in and browse through the courses and sign up for one that interests you.
If you don’t have a Learnit account, follow the instructions on the Register tab.
To be eligible for a Learnit course, you must:
- Be a KP Union Alliance or Coalition employee
- Be a BHMT-eligible employee
- Have completed your probationary period
NOTE: If your eligibility changes, your registration may be cancelled.
Missed Class or Drop Policy
If you register but don’t attend—and don’t cancel at least 3 business days in advance—your access to Learnit courses may be paused for 12 months.

To take a Learnit course, you’ll need:
- A reliable computer with an internet connection
- A current browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge
- A microphone and camera
- A camera-ready space for group discussions
- Access to Zoom (free sign-up available)
- A backup internet plan in case of technical issues
Ask about BHMT’s Laptop Lending Program if you need a computer for your classes.
- Select the Register button.
- Enter your NUID to confirm your eligibility.
- Read and approve the BHMT Beneficiary Agreement.
- Fill in your information and choose Create Account. You’ll receive an email to reset your password.
- Bookmark the Learnit Learner Portal.
- From the portal, select either Human Skills or Technical Skills from the Learnit web page. Select a course that works for your schedule and follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
Cost
All Learnit courses are no-cost to BHMT-eligible participants. You will see a cost associated with each course. Once you log in with your Learnit ID, the cost will not display at checkout.
