Skillsoft offers online courses and videos to help you grow in your job and in life. As a BHMT participant, you get 24/7 access to a huge library of courses through KP Learn at no-cost to you. These courses are great for BHMT participants who want to:
- Build new professional or personal skills
- Learn how to use common software
- Get ready for business certifications
- Learn at their own pace from home or work
What can you learn?
Explore more than 2,500 self-paced courses on topics such as:
- Business and communication skills: Leadership, management, teamwork, HR and finance
- Software training: Beginner to advanced courses in Microsoft Office and other applications
- Desktop productivity videos: Quick 3 to5-minute how-to videos for specific tasks
- Certification prep: Project Management, Business Analysis, HR, Six Sigma and many more
NOTE: If you already have a Skillsoft account, enter a topic of interest in the Search Skillsoft tab above and browse the courses. If you don’t have a Skillsoft account select the Register button and follow the instructions on the Register tab.
To be eligible for Skillsoft courses, you must:
- Be a KP Union Alliance or Coalition employee
- Be a BHMT-eligible employee
- Have completed your probationary period
- A reliable computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
- A current internet browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari.
Ask about BHMT’s Laptop Lending Program if you need a computer for your classes.
KP-eligible participants must complete the Skillsoft subscription process to view Skillsoft courses through BHMT at no cost to your department. If you view the Skillsoft courses directly through KP Learn, your department is charged.
To set up your Skillsoft subscription for the year:
- Select the Register button. You will be directed to KP Learn website.
- Select the green Go to KP Learn button.
- Log in using your NUID and password.
- Select the Me tab from the main menu.
- Find the 2025 Ben Hudnall Skillsoft Subscription Pending Registration and select Actions to open the Actions menu.
- Choose View classes.
- Select the class you want and then choose Launch and Learn. The Skillsoft window appears. You can select Exit to complete the subscription process.
NOTE: If you receive a “Required Prerequisites” notice, launch the “Ben Hudnall Skillsoft Subscription” course found in your Me tab. Contact bhmt@kp.org if you have any questions.
If you have already subscribed, select the Find Your Course button to return to the Overview tab and enter your area of interest in the search box.

Use this on-demand catalog of learning resources to identify the Skillsoft courses, videos, and learning packages you want to access on KP Learn. Browse the course catalog offerings by searching for specific courses in business/interpersonal skills and computer software. Find a class you want to take and Launch and Learn!
