Esther Gonzalez Freeman is a bilingual educator, speaker, and coach. During her 16+ years in higher education, Esther has drawn on her experiences (both failures and successes) as a first-generation college graduate to develop and lead programs focused on leadership and career development, college success, diversity and inclusion, and more. She has had the privilege of leading college access and success programs, research-based mentoring models for marginalized populations, and women’s leadership development programs. Her work has been recognized by the City of Winston-Salem, NC, Lehigh University, and North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities Partnership, to name a few.
Esther is passionate about motivating, empowering, and guiding others to create fulfilling, purposeful, and balanced lives. As a speaker, facilitator, and coach, Esther is respected for her unflinching authenticity regarding her own experiences and “tell-it-like-it-is” bluntness concerning failure, resilience, and growth mindset—all of which is delivered with warmth, humor, and empathy. Esther has appeared on the Dr. Oz Show and has been quoted and featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, BuzzFeed, Bustle, and Yahoo Finance.
Outside of work, she helps young professionals, small businesses, and budding entrepreneurs find their niche and develop their unique brand voice.
Esther earned a BA in Political Science from the College of New Jersey and an MS in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University. She is a Board-Certified life, career, and executive business coach. She is also credentialed by the International Coaching Federation.
